Santa Rosa County, FL – An 18-year-old woman, identified as Kadance Fredericksen, tragically lost her life in a car accident in Santa Rosa County, Florida. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that Fredericksen was driving her sedan when it collided with a tractor-trailer driven by a 56-year-old Milton man. According to reports, the driver of the tractor-trailer sustained minor injuries.
Authorities have not yet determined the exact cause of the crash, and the Florida Highway Patrol has stated that the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made in connection with the accident at this time.

Fredericksen, who was well known in the pageant community, had previously won the title of Miss Okaloosa County Teen USA and participated in various beauty pageants. However, beyond her achievements in pageantry, she was widely recognized for her philanthropy and dedication to helping children in need.

Baker School, where Fredericksen was a student, posted a heartfelt tribute on social media, describing her as “a beacon of light in our community.†The school also noted the significant impact of her charitable initiative, Kada’s Promise, which has helped thousands of children.

In 2017, Fredericksen founded Promise, a charity initiative that provided teddy bears and blankets to children in foster care, abuse shelters, and hospitals. Inspired by her own difficult childhood experiences, Fredericksen wanted to offer comfort to children facing hardship.
