I had no idea

Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is praised for restoring scalp pH, reducing dandruff, and adding shine. Curious about its effects, I left diluted ACV (1:1 ratio) in my hair overnight. After rinsing, my hair felt softer, shinier, and frizz-free, while my scalp felt cleaner and less itchy. Though promising for scalp health, ACV’s acidity can cause irritation if not diluted properly. Overuse may lead to dryness, so occasional application is best. Compared to deep conditioning or oil treatments, ACV is a natural, budget-friendly alternative for clarifying hair without harsh chemicals.
